1. Payment

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card or debit card.

Subscription Plans: Lessons are offered through weekly subscription packages, charged on a recurring weekly basis.

Payment Schedule: Payments for the subscription must be made in advance every week.

Currency: All payments must be made in GBP (E).

Cancellation of Subscription: Subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Upon cancellation, access to lessons will remain available until the end of the current paid week.

2. Booking and Scheduling

Booking Process: After subscribing, parents or students must contact us directly to schedule their lessons.

Rescheduling: Students may reschedule a lesson with at least 24 hours' notice through customer service.

Unused Lessons: Lessons not used within the weekly subscription period do not carry over to the next week unless otherwise agreed upon.

3. Lesson Delivery

  • Platform: Lessons will be conducted via Teams

  • Technical Requirements: Students must ensure they have a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and a webcam.

  • Materials: Any required materials will be provided electronically before the lesson.

  • Preparation Time: Students must log in and be active 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson to prepare.

 

4. Recording of Lessons

  • Consent: By purchasing a lesson, you consent to the lesson being recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.

  • Usage: Recorded lessons will be used internally and will not be shared publicly without further consent.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Personal Information: We collect and store personal information in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act and GDPR.

  • Usage: Personal information will be used solely for the purpose of providing tuition services.

  • Third Parties: We do not share personal information with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

6. Guardian Declaration

  • Age Requirement: By agreeing to this policy, you declare that you are either the legal guardian of the child who will be attending the lessons or you are at least 18 years old if attending the lessons yourself.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Student Conduct: Students are expected to conduct themselves respectfully during lessons. Disruptive behavior may result in termination of the lesson without a refund.

  • Tutor Conduct: Tutors will conduct themselves professionally and deliver lessons to the best of their ability.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints: Any complaints should be directed to our customer service team. We aim to resolve complaints within 7 business days.

  • Governing Law: This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Policy Changes: We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our website.

Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At Aced It Tutors, we strive to provide the best quality service and customer satisfaction. If you need to cancel or reschedule your online maths tuition lesson, we are here to help. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for rescheduling and cancellations.

 

2. Eligibility for Rescheduling

Digital Products and Services: Since our lessons are delivered online, we do not offer refunds for any cancellations. However, you may reschedule your lesson under specific conditions as outlined below.

Advance Bookings: If you have booked a lesson in advance, you may reschedule it according to the conditions specified.

3. Rescheduling Conditions

Cancellation by Customer:

Cancellations can be made at any time before the scheduled lesson time and will be eligible for rescheduling without any additional charges.

Technical Issues:

If a lesson is unable to be conducted due to technical issues on our end (e.g., platform outages, tutor connectivity problems), you will be offered the option to reschedule the lesson at a convenient time.

If technical issues occur on the student's end, we will work with you to reschedule the lesson at a convenient time.

4. No-Show Policy

Student No-Shows:

If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson will not count, and the student will not be charged. The student will be allowed to reschedule the lesson.

5. Trial Lessons

No Refunds for Trial Lessons:

Trial lessons are the priced at £5 since is the set up fee for your account to attend lessons. As such, trial lessons are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.

6. How to Reschedule

Information Required: Please provide the following information when requesting a reschedule:

Your name and contact details

Date and time of the scheduled lesson

Preferred new date and time for the lesson

7. Reschedule Processing

Approval: Once your reschedule request is received and reviewed, we will notify you of the approval and confirm the new lesson time.

Timeline: We aim to process reschedule requests within 2 business days.

8. Exemptions

Completed Lessons: Lessons that have already been completed cannot be rescheduled.

Repeated No-Shows: Repeated no-shows without prior notice may result in the inability to reschedule further lessons without additional charges.

9. Amendments

Policy Changes: We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our website.
